Approach

My work aspires to the simplicity and serendipity of the thumbnail sketch. Whatever magic there is to be found in art, it chiefly exists in the searching, the iterating, the not-knowing-what-you're-doing phase of hammering out an idea. The final work is a monument to that initial spark of creation as much as the subject itself.
